What sharing QuickBooks access means

  • How it works: you invite me as your accountant from Settings, then Manage users. It takes about 2 minutes.
  • It’s free: accountant users don’t count toward your QuickBooks user limit or change your subscription.
  • What I’ll look at: your transactions, bank and card reconciliations, and reports. If you run payroll in QuickBooks, I may see payroll details too, and they stay confidential.
  • What I won’t do: change, categorize, or delete anything during the health check. I only look.
  • What I can’t see: your bank logins or passwords. QuickBooks doesn’t share those with anyone.
  • You stay in control: remove my access anytime from that same Manage users screen.
  • Not on QuickBooks Online? No problem. We’ll work from reports exported from your software instead.
